Alternative battery cover for Diamond?
Hello all,
I'm close to buying either an Ignito or MDA tomorrow instead of the Diamond, as I just don't like the diamond battery cover much. I feel it lets the device down in its looks.
Therefore is anyone aware of a replacement battery cover that's flat, which will fit the original Diamond please?
Otherwise I might have to blow £200 on the Ignito with O2 just for aesthetics, when a Diamond deal with Orange would be £80 cheaper.
Ouch.

As far as I'm aware the Ignto extended battery and cover will fit the Diamond.

Unfortunately not. I believe the Diamond's cover goes up at the corners, and the Ignito cover fits a different housing.
It's a shame the Diamond back is the way it is. Seems HTC have reverted to sense with the new HD Touch's back.

It might be a very long shot but eBay may have Ignito covers or somewhere else on the net.

You probably beat me on the bidding of one! I missed by a few seconds.

I was in town so used bidnip.com which gives you 5 free credits. I'm sure you find another one for sale soon though. My apparently BNIB Touch came from eBay, but had someone's photos and SMS on, so I only risked an unopened box auction this time.

Nice work ruffage sounds like a bargain!
@Tony, so you are in the market for an Ignito/Diamond are you?

Err, could be, could be!
I'm getting twitchy as I delayed my O2 upgrade waiting for the Orbit2 and now can't upgrade until next Feb so thinking of jumping onto a Diamond derivative but not looking at starting a new contract with anyone so e-bay or full price will be the way it goes - unless some kindly soul is selling!
Been looking at Touch Pro too!
