Hmm the SR606 does have AUX ports on there (see attached), but these are not listed as RCA or colour coded at all. Any ideas which colours map to which ports?

From memory, Video is yellow, audio left is white & audio right is red.... Although the last two may be confused...

no damage at all (other than to the sound system speakers if they are on high volume!)

video is yellow
right is red
left is white

i usually get the white and yellow the wrong way round - and just hear loud buzzing in my tv (when connecting camera to it)

Yeah, shouldn't do any damage, if you connect the audio the wrong way around it just comes out of the wrong speakers...
