Anyone confirm that this works?

I couldn't say to be honest, I wouldn't like to try it either in case it damages your device or worse. I think it should be avoided like swine flu!

The best place to get unlocked is xda-developers if you have contributed enough towards the forums, if not it will cost only a few £s from a reputable unlocking site.

Olipro (member of XDA forum) has a website that offers unlocking for a minimum fee of £10 if your interested see HERE its certainly a better option and very reliable.

I think this would be considered warez...hardspl is free and readily available for most htc devices on xda.

R3PUBLIK is absolutely correct... I have taken advantage of this option for my HTC Fuze... It allows me to use different radios like the ones on the Experia.... Small investment if you are a flashaholic or suffer from RFWS (Rom Flashing Withdrawal Syndrome), and worth it...
