Over on xda-developers there is a thread describing how you can customise your HTC Touch cube. You can change the icons, animation and programmes and much more, there is lots to keep you busy for hours!

Hmmm i tried to do this with my alltel HTC Touch but it wouldn't let me overite the files i think alltel has a block on there /window folder where you can't do things like this if not please help lol

The best thing I can suggest you do is skim through the thread in the link in the first post, I am not familiar with your device so it is not easy to advise. Did you try to overwrite the files from within your device? If you tried by activesync it will not work.

i tried it within the HTC Touch i put them on the micro SD then put it in the phone and went to copy paste them to the /window folder and said that i couldn't do that i wassn't authorized to do that, cause when i try todo it from activesync it doen't even see the /window folder on the pc

but i'll take a look around maybe someone had the same prob as me and know how i can fix it ^^ thanks for the responding to my ?.

It may work better if you use Resco Explorer or similar.

Where do u get the resco explorer from, and how do you trf it and install to the phone. Quite new with this phone.

Hi Afida and welcome to the site

You can find Resco Explorer here (click on here) and use it on a seven day trial, it is an excellent tool and does more than just registry edits. If you look in the PPC FAQ's there is a post on how to install files to your device, I hope that helps. If you are unsure about editing your registry leave it until you know more about your device.

Hi Boz, I am very new to this site as well as to putting these types of apps onto my phone even though i have had it for almost a year now, so please forgive me for asking silly things of you. I am very interested in learning as much as i can about changing this phone to make it "mine". I am not afraid to crash it as i have insurance on it and plan on buying the diamond pro and then touch hd when they are releaed to sprint, lol. That being said, I have been searching for instructions and links on updating my ppc 6800 win mob 6.1 with toch flo app i have read so much over past 3 weeks and everything just "almost" tells me everything i need to know. I have downloaded the cube and audio manager to my phone. The cube spins smoothly, i just cant configure it, and the music manager won't launch from the cube itself, i have to go into programs and then select audio manager to get it to open. Can you please give me more detailed instruction on what i need to do after i download the touch flo app? I would be forever in your debt!
