Nope, not right now. If I were buying for the first time, then I would definitely buy the enhanced big memory version, but the improvements are not marked enough for me to spend that much money right now, for not a lot of gain. Nope, I'm waiting for the next big thing.

What I really, really want is a Touch, with this larger memory, a 400 processor, a larger battery, wifi, 3G and GPS, maybe with a VGA screen, 5mpx camera & Shadow type interface, then people could get injured if they get in my way to get a new device.

If HTC were to make 2 versions of that, one with, one without sliding keyboard, I reckon they'd be knocked over in the rush and unable to keep up with demand.

Not sure how much that would cost, but boy, would it be worth it, and I could keep it for 2 years or more I reckon.

if they released an enhanced touch with the Qualcomm CPU with the GPS enabled they would have my perfect device.

It baffles me that they haven't done this. They could have a small form factor device with 3G and GPS that would blow the iPhone away. All HTC really have to do now is create a decent PIM to link to from the cube and HTC home and you have a winner in my book.

I agree with everything you said...... except 3G. I don't think you'd get 3G in the Touch form factor because you'd need a much bigger battery.

Aye, I know what you're saying about that. The issue is that customers want 3G, although they might not understand what it means. HTC could easily use the band switcher tool, or even develop a higher capacity battery that is smaller. The Kaiser battery is only 200mAh more IIRC than the Touch one, so it's possible. The one point I feel is that 2MP is plenty, the 1.3MP camera in the MTeor is the best quality camera I've seen yet IMHO!
