Anyone experienced a microphone problem on their Touch. A colleague has one; no-one can hear him we in he makes or recieves a call. I've just tried to record (in Notes) but just get background hiss. Any suggestions?

Re: Dodgy Microphone ?

It does sound like a hardware fault Rick, have you tried the usual hard-reset approach?

Re: Dodgy Microphone ?

Thanks for the replies. Hard reset didn't sort it and it did just start happening after a few months of OK. It has now gone back for "repair".

Re: Dodgy Microphone ?

Hey Rick! I regret to tell you that you have a hardware problem. No doubt. Sending it for repair its the best solution. You may have to save some bucks, it will cost you, but that will make your phone work again.
cheers!
