Hi Peter, I have moved your post into the correct thread for the Trinity.

Upgrade error number 270 means that the bootloader is not correct for the rom you are trying to flash, have you installed Hard SPL 1.20 to your device before attempting to upgrade, and could you tell me which rom you are trying to flash to your device?

Try a hard reset first off and see if that brings it back.

I would try putting the device into bootloader mode and then connect to activesync and flash an original rom and radio to your device. Have a look at the Trinity guide here for more details. If this works you can then install Hard SPL 1.20 before flashing to the rom you require. Let me know how you get on.

It doesn't need to connect to ActiveSync- bootloader is a much more 'primitive' system that connects via simple USB (make sure its direct and not via a hub)

So, with the device in Bootloader, and connected via USB, run the ROMUpdateUtility for the original ROM, and it should run through. You may need to try it a couple of times.
