htc p3600 and gps
Hi, I have a chance of getting a htc p3600.
Does it have GPS built in?
I read on here that I may be able to add new software to it to enable gps if it doesn,t have it.
any idea if this is still possible. and how hard would it be to a complete newbie to windows mobiles ( don't even know what a rom or radio upgrade is..lol)
The thing is I got offered a new one for £100 and wonder if it would be worth it but i,d prefer to have gps ( could I even buy a bluetooth gps reciever or something?)
any help appreciated.

Re: htc p3600 and gps
Yes it would be worth having, GPS is built in the Trinity as it is known. The original rom didn't have it enabled but the later WM6 roms do. If you need a hand with upgrading the rom and radio we would be pleased to help.

Re: htc p3600 and gps
Yes the Mini SD is the correct card for the Trinity, I use one myself, so that is a result for you.

Re: htc p3600 and gps
The original launch ROM for the Trinity didn't have GPS, but the next WM5 one did. So all but the earliest machines have the GPS enabled, and if yours doesn't we can take you through the way to enable it.

Re: htc p3600 and gps
Yer, I can offer advice if need also. I have had my trinity (with many customised ROMs) and TT 6.0.3 for over a year.
