Apple Mac Computer / iPhone As we seem to get some users online with us who are tempted to migrate sideways onto the Apple Macs and iPhones we now have this forum to discuss issues - make comparative queries, etc

iPhone & Exchange Woes

Someone on mobilitytoday has just posted his thoughts on using Exchange Sync (or iDontSync) with an Apple iPhone and he is not a happy chappy.

"I know many of you will call me an Apple iPhone hater and quite honestly I am not. I am liking this phone so much that I am willing to deal with the above bugs. Do I miss Windows Mobile exchange support? You better believe ya! Apple completely failed here and they should be embarrassed to tell their enterprise customers this is a full featured email device. Its not there yet Apple"

The full article describes all the bits that are either missing or do not work and is quite a depressing read if you were waiting for this functionality.

Re: iPhone & Exchange Woes

And there was me thinking Apple did not do fixes that was a Microsoft trait

I can see a lot more of these problems for Apple as they go more mainstream. The Apple market although big was not really in the same league as Microsoft but with the iPod (and its issues) and the iPhone are being targeted in the sort of scale that MS are more used to and with that sort of scale they are bound to get more and more problems.

Just look at the US and the UK's issues with the iRaq and heaven help us if they ever bring out the iRan upgrade!
