Blacklight Power creates prototype of physics-busting miracle power generator
Compeltely awesome if true! Full story here.
What’s this? Another crackpot saying he can generate power out of water, thin air or garbage? Blacklight Power is more than sketches and talk: The well-funded company has built a prototype of its power generator, claiming it can crank out 50,000 watts at a tenth the cost of the cheapest coal, nuclear, or wind power. The astonishing science behind this dynamo has to do with the Fifth Force (the first four being gravity, electromagnetism, and the two nuclear forces, strong and weak), a concept that many scientists say doesn’t even exist.
Randell Mills, the Harvard-educated physician and maverick behind this power-generation tech, says he’s applied a catalyst (insert miracle here?) to hydrogen atoms derived from plain old water, changing the orbits of their electrons and turning them into what he calls hydrinos. When this happens, lots of energy is released, enough to create more hydrogen via electrolysis. Sounds near-miraculous, but the company says the generator you see here is real, and can be scaled up to megawatt size or down to micro size.

Interesting, but unfortunately, not a lot of agreement, take a look here...

It's unfortunate. We could do with a new super duper clean form of energy.

It may not be that far out!
BMW has a fleet of Hydrogen powered 7 series vehicles that only release water by way of emissions. If they can do it in a car.....

Re: Blacklight Power creates prototype of physics-busting miracle power generator
Bit different though, isn't it? The BMW's are using Hydrogen as a method of storing energy that has already been created - in this case electricity in a power station.
This guy is supposedly claiming he can "create" energy by reversing the orbit of electrons! Bit far fetched.

I'm a great believer though that there has got to be some such 'free' way of getting the energy we just have to find it first and avoid destroying ourselves in the process!
