Re: Doctor Who?

They were both at the end of series celebrations and although not saying anything specific you got the feeling we have not seen the last of either of them.

People have told me Series 2 is not as good as 1 until about half way through but I don't care I still can't wait till it returns - just pray BBC2 does get it to the end!

Re: Doctor Who?

Indeed, I like the BBC format for it. Watching "next weeks" episode in HD. Cool.

Re: Doctor Who?

But of course. The only problem it looks like the writers strike has hit the US as nothing to download yet and it was normally shown on Monday night USA time

Thumbs up A treat for Dr Who fans - are there any here?

I feel there may be... I just want to give you all a heads up on a friend of mine's Touring show

Moths Ate My Dr Who Scarf. - Toby Hadoke is a good pal of mine and his one man show is about how Dr Who and being a fanboy shaped his life and his role as a dad. It is quite simply unmissable and will resonate with any Dr Who fans, Star Trek Fans, Babylon 5 fans - indeed fans of scifi and TV Culture in general.

The show is available on CD, but it's far more rewarding to experience live, and it's doing a tour soon so I thought I'd just post a few details. I rarely recommend comedians, because comedy is so personal, but I can recommend this easily.

More info about MOTHS and tour dates here Toby Hadoke | Actor | Writer | Comedian

Well worth a looksee.

Daisy xxx

Re: Doctor Who?

Hi Daisy I have merged your post with the main Dr. Who thread, and trimmed your post up as we do not promote spamming, even slightly!

Thanks boz.

Re: Doctor Who?

Pity the tour dates are all last year's, I reckon I'd probably enjoy this.

Re: Doctor Who?

Definately touring this year, so either not changed the year or not put this years dates on his website yet - he's not all that techy, for a Dr Who nerd that is..... LOL

Well worth catching... Dais xx

Re: Doctor Who?

Watched a couple of clips on youtube, not really my kind of thing, trying a bit too hard for me but not terrible. But as you say humour is a very personal thing and there are plenty of nationally acclaimed comedians that I don't like at all.
