Had a quick play and must say I am underwhelmed a little.

As Davey points out, it's virtually identical to CoD4 in gameplay and structure etc. All the old tricks still work like bunny-hopping to avoid being shot and my biggest bug-bear of all - you are rewarded for madly running around just trying to shoot people. That's not war! There's virtually no reward for strategy, cunning, stealth or surviving. Last time I saw a war zone, people didn't just stand up and run at each other!

I'm not asking for a war 'simulation' but some more realism in having to think your way around and aim to survive. You don't re-spawn in real life!

Fair points, but the Hardcore and Search and Destroy modes are not in the Beta. They should address the running round like a loony issue.

P.s. The bunny hopping only works against nubs. Pro's will be aiming for your head, and will hit the torso, doesn't make a lot of difference then.

For me W@W was really bad so I am glad I have sold this on for 35.00, £8.00 more than I paid.

I'm going to wait until CoD modern warfare2 is out.

Anyone still playing CoD4? - I love this game

CoD5 is ok, but 4 was much better. I still play it occasionally. It's a shame infinity ward couldn't give us a few new maps to play with though.

I became bored with CoD5 pretty quickly and hardly play it. Didn't even bother to complete the single player element.

Still jump on CoD4 occasionally.

Just completed Need for Speed: Undercover over the hols - didn't take too long....

Just started Farcry 2 which seems pretty good and far more strategy than any of the CoD franchise games.

Big Guitar Hero franchise fan too - got II, III, Aerosmith and World Tour with drums, guitars and Mic!

Bought Rockband AC/DC too and that works with the GH kit pretty well.

I'm still playing the CoD5 multiplayer but it's not really floating my boat. I might jump on GoW2 tonight and see if they fixed the issues.
