2. The graphics aren't as good as they might be cos they've concentrated on getting more going on instead
3. The single player game has about 8 hours of gameplay
4. Multiplayer is great.
Hmmm, I don't normally bother with multiplayer (mainly cos I don't have enough time to spare getting good at the games in the first place) so I'm just not feeling it.

1. I guess it depends what you mean. I liked Halo2, but found some parts to be too hard and/or too repetitive. I'm now 2/3 of the way through the campaign on Legendary on Halo 3 and am enjoying the campaign as much as GoW (which I loved!). Story wise if you hated Halo 1 and 2, this last part is a better story line and the cut scenes are the best I've seen, but it's still Halo. If you hated it before you'll likely hate it now.
2. Basically what they've said is that they're not running it at 1080 so they can keep the frame rate up. Sounds rubbish, but it looks awesome in a different way. There's always so much going on. In the first Scarab battle there has to be 50 troops, 20 spaceships, 10 quads and 10 ghosts, all on the screen at once with fire all over the place and it runs with 4 players on co-op simultaneously without skipping a beat. The backdrops are superb, especially the jungle levels, the way the scenery reacts like when you run through the ferns is cool. I think graphically it's still breath taking at several points and whereas GoW feels cramped and tight in the streets (as it's supposed too) the scale of Halo is stunning. Great big battles in great big arenas. Quality.
3. If you put it on easy and run through it then there's about 8 hours of gameplay. What's the point in that though? We're just about hitting 20 hours on the campaign on legendary, with a third to go, and we're quite good. My mate at work has put the same in and is about half way through because he and his mate aren't so good. I reckon by the time I've done legendary and then rattled through again to pick up what I've missed I'll have done 40 hours on it.
4. The multiplayer is excellent because the Trueskill stuff actually works. With the combined rank and skill levels you tend to actually play against people the same level as you. I played on my mate's xbox using his profile a couple this weekend for a couple of games and found the opposition easy, with his skill level being a fair bit lower than mine. Gamewise I think I preferred CoD4 and GoW, but having some guy get 50 kills when everyone else gets 3 kinda spoils games. The Trueskill stuff definitely make it a more even battlefield.

Do you mean the bit in the barracks Wirral when all the flying beaties come at you from the skylights in the roof? If so it's easiest to stay in the corridoor with the battle rifle and take them out one by one.
