First look: The HTC Shift on Uber Tablet

"I had The HTC Shift for a little over 60 hours and was able to play with many of its great features, which include Pocket PC, HSDPA, Vista Business, Tilt Touchscreen, QWERTY keyboard and more. It is an incredible device with many possibilities, this video will hopefully showcase some of that. I managed to literally squeeze it into a very tight schedule I am running at present and did what I could to cover off some of the burning questions folks might have."

Looks like a winner. Wonder if the USB port can be connected to an external DVD player to watch DVD movies too. Or connect to a Digital TV stick for watching live TV. Better if it can be configured with Vista Home Premium for more entertainment features. Then I can truly take it on my business trip instead of having to carry a laptop.

Well I sat down and watched the entire movie - the guy can woffle on a bit but oh what an awesome device!

I liked the video as it gave a real sense of the capabilities. I like the device due to the dual processors. I really wished there was a device like this the size of the old Psion 5mx or HP Jornada 728 as then it would be perfect because I could carry it in my jacket pocket; but this device's dual processor makes me think about having one and imagining how it would be carrying it in a shoulder travel type bag? Not really as cool but the functionality is still making me ponder....

I'm tempted just for the functionality as I'd be able to keep in touch with things from the couch. Mind you my wife may not agree, with that. And I hate to think how large a car mount would be!

I've read everything I could find, and I must say: a beautiful UMPC! With so much possibilities! I like this machine! But I need more reviews than the only one there is at this moment from mr. Ortega.
