A guy called Sonny Svenson has released a TV Listings guide on
XDA Developers. V1.30 has just been released and it is still a 'donationware' program as donations to date have funded the required software routines. Myself and The Mailman of 4WM have both been involved in the beta testing and have been impressed by the diligence of the developer
I'd not normally make any fuss about a pre-release application, but this one has really impressed me

We do need a decent TV Guide for the UK since the demise of the Digiguide client software and the Radio Times software. This one looks good, has scrolling lists of program info, and can set a configurable reminder in the WinMo Calendar for any program.
Additionally, the XML file can be edited to show/hide/rearrange the channel listings.
There are still some things to achieve- it needs a local storage routine to save listings, rather then going online each time, and it needs a graphical interface to select and sort channels.
Some of the screenshots are of the previous version, but the idea is the same! The current version has the dayname in the header now, as some shots show.
It's currently VGA/WVGA only and requires .netCF 3.5
File size on the device is 1.3MB, and RAM size while running is 5.5MB. The Now/Next screen takes about 10 seconds to load with a good data connection, and the channel lists take about 3 seconds.
