Re: Samsung i900 Omnia
Thanks Dr Ravi Sachdev,
It's good to hear some real hands-on experience. The only reviews I have read compare it to the HTC Diamond even though they are different. The optical mouse and accelerometer should I hope be fixable with ROM updates. Yes the screen is unusually long which must be for a reason but does that mean some third party apps won't work on it? I am attracted to its 5MP camera and large memory size (the features!) but the Diamond has its VGA and Home screen which sets it apart.

Re: Samsung i900 Omnia
So how did you find it speed-wise? How well did the accelerometer work?

It's also now on the Orange Webshop but quite pricey. The lowest tariff to give 250MB data is now the Panther 40 (£35 online), on which the phone is £49.99
This is the 16GB version, which Orange reportedly have exclusively for one month.

Re: Samsung i900 Omnia
When you connect to it from ActiveSync or WMDC you should see you can add it to the device itslef or to internal storage. Is this what you are seeing? Are you copying it to the device or the storage? The device will only be a couple hundred meg but the storage should be the 16GB.

Re: Samsung i900 Omnia
I connect from activeSync, then starts "Synchronizing" automatically, whatever it's meas! Well, I can't see any internal storage, where it can be? Where I must look to find it? When I connect from this ActiveSync, I can see in "my computer" "mobile device" button, then 2 click to "mobile device" and I see "DCIM, dictionaries, my music, my pictures, my video etc." I tried to put music or film ".avi" to each other, but I couldn't. I think my computer don't show this internal storage when I connect from ActiveSync. Thanks.

Re: Samsung i900 Omnia
Once you have a connection with ActiveSync, when you open file explorer you should see and entry for Mobile Device at the bottom of the my Computer list, is this where you are looking?
