Hmmm
I've just spoken to Chris at Clove - he is still expecting in October ... I then went to the Sony store ... and they say at :
Sony Ericsson OFFICIAL E-SHOP, Sony Ericsson Accessories and Phones: Pre Register
Pre-Register - Expected launch: Oct , 08
Sony Ericsson XPERIA™ X1
This suggests there is no problem ....
I've just put my N95-2 on ebay ... I'll be gutted in that goes now before the X1 arrives

Alledgedly a rep at the IFA show last week said there had been no delay and that the XPERIA was still due in Q4, as it had always been. Which was slightly missleading because SE had always said H2, not Q4, in the past.

And now confirmed in an SE Press conference that a UK, Germany and US release is scheduled for early October but that they are still tweaking the firmware to improve the video playback.

Just been on the phone to Vodafone and they are expecting stock on the 3rd October all being well.
My Vodafone contract is up.... hmmm do I or don't I?
