I would think it doesn't get any easier than reading the first post, don'tcha think? Here is Boz's great directions for the settings to save you the trouble of going to the first post again LOL.

TCMP Settings:-

Here are the settings to use straight after TCPMP is installed DO NOT ADJUST ANY OTHERS, then soft reset for them to take effect.

In TCPMP options>settings>select page>file associations tick all of them.

In TCPMP options>settings>select page>ATI IMAGEON tick disable os bitmap cashing.

In TCPMP options>video tick ATI IMAGEON

All tried and tested

Works a treat!

Re: !! (UPDATED) Hermes TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player + all codecs here

Hi I am using a Cingular 8525. I have installed tcpmp but neither of my browsers IE or Opera will use it. If I go to youtube I can not play the videos. What am I missing? Is there a way to set this as my default media player? Thank in advance

Hi v1b3zman and welcome to 4WM

Have you installed the files for Youtube in the first post, if you have, the answers to your questions are contained in this thread somewhere!

Hi mate, have you followed all the instructions and installed the patch/fix in my first post in this thread?

Re: !! (UPDATED) Hermes TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player + all codecs here

I'm using the programs as this thread suggests to play and convert movies.

The movie converted perfectly fine but I'm having troubles trying to move the file over to my memory card in my phone. It gives some type of error.

And yes I followed the instructions perfectly without any hiccups until the transferring part.

Anyone have this problem?

Hi npham54 and welcome to 4WM

Which device are you using, and have you checked the available memory on your device? Even though you are storing on your card you still need available memory on your device.

I'm using the 8525 w/Black Majik's WM6. I use the Task Manager to usually make sure I don't have things running in the background that's not needed.

Re: !! (UPDATED) Hermes TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player + all codecs here

Not sure if someone could verify this for me please.

I'm trying to play a WMV that's encoded in 953Kbps bit rate and audio is in 32kbps, 44kHz mono. It was encoded in WMV9 codec.

Think this is probably too much for this player too handle even with the installed WM codecs?
