Question Re: !! (UPDATED) TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player + all codecs here !!

Does anyone know why the player on my 8525 w/official WM6 installed act funny? I installed this on a fresh unit after master reset. I did the .dll file updates and made sure the setting were correct.
When I try to use the player, the whole screen shakes like it's having seizures and doesn't stop. I can play my videos in full screen but even then it acts weird.
Did this happen to anyone else or know why and how to fix it?

It sounds as though you haven't installed the patch that is available in the first post of this thread.

Re: !! (UPDATED) TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player + all codecs here !!

Hello, first post here.

Will this work for the AT&T Tilt as well? I have an older version, v0.72 and videos looked choppy. Also running WM6.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hi JahNizzle and welcome to 4WM

Yes it will work fine on the Tilt, just install the player and no fix! You need to make no settings changes to it just run it and all should be well, if not try picking "raw" under the video options

Re: !! (UPDATED) TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player + all codecs here !!

I uploaded v 0.82.

Videos play better now, but I'm still getting choppy frames.

Think there's anything else that can fix it? So close, yet so far

Thanks so much.

Re: !! (UPDATED) TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player + all codecs here !!

Have you tried choosing raw framebuffer in options>video, and then trying it, and which type of video file are you trying to play?

Yes, raw framebuffer is checked.

Movie file is AVI.

Re: !! (UPDATED) TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player + all codecs here !!

Is it a full sized AVI file or have you shrunk it to play at the right size on the device, if it is not shrunk try Pocket DivX Encoder available for free from PocketDivXEncoder
