Yes please ! As per my prior post (playback of an divx avi file):
I still see problems (pixelation, screen drop outs) if I select Video -> ATI IMAGEON Decoder... ATI IMAGEON seems to work. Is that the correct choice?
What about the "Disable OS Bitmap Caching" and "Keep ATI driver active" settings? How should they be set?

Thanks boz - I'll give this a bash.
I was always under the impression that 0.81 was a bogus build but I'll give it a shot.

Yes many people think that, but I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

I thought that everyone should try this Hermes TCMP media player it plays audio files and video files in perfect quality. It works on WM5 or WM6, and the later WM6 roms already contain the video fix patch so that it functions correctly without distortion. This is a specially built hybrid version and contains all the available codecs, and is available HERE .
Used in conjunction with Pocket Divxencoder available for free HERE (donations would be welcome by the site) to shrink your video files to play in 240x320 mode.
If your rom does not contain the patch to fix your video problems you can download that HERE , please check yourself if your rom contains this patch.
All tried and tested
This should also work with other devices but I have not tried so do so at your own risk, I will not be held responsible!
TCMP Settings:-
Here are the settings to use straight after TCPMP is installed DO NOT ADJUST ANY OTHERS, then soft reset for them to take effect.
In TCPMP options>settings>select page>file associations tick all of them.
In TCPMP options>settings>select page>ATI IMAGEON tick disable os bitmap cashing.
In TCPMP options>settings>video tick ATI IMAGEON
|
Thnxs for the steps for the config... but there is one mistake... The last step you do not go to settings for video... you just click options, video and then select ATI IMAGEON...

Does this version of TCPMP have AVRCP? I use the Sony HBH970, and like to use the forward/back features...but the versions I've tried of TCPMP never have supported that profile.

Hi and welcome to the forum, I am afraid that format is not supported in this version either.

Re: !!! Hermes TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player with all codecs here !!!
Just installed, config'd, and reset for TCPMP 0.81. However, running a stream (stream.wmwebasx) from Orb ( MyCast your digital media with Orb 2.0 remote pc access software) which worked for me in the prior version of TCPMP gives me error messages "Audio Codec (Windows Media Audio) not supported by the player!" and "Video Codec (Windows Media Video) not supported by the player!". Have I botched something, or am I SOL?

If you jump to the top of the thread you'll see I spotted the same thing. I'm afraid you're SOL.
