Re: !! (UPDATED) TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player + all codecs here !!
Right ok, and I take it you disabled the file associations in Real Player too.
Try this, go to Settings>Connections>Connections>Manage Existing Connection (on the one you use)>Proxy Settings(on the bottom)>
and leave "This network connects to the internet" checked
And uncheck "This network uses a proxy server to connect to the internet"
Dont just go to the ATT app that says disable proxy.. it lies.
Please make a note of your existing settings first.

Anyone get this to work on a Motorola Q9c with Windows Mobile 6.1? I have tried every version I could find with no luck.

Hi Rob and welcome to 4WM
The versions here are for touchscreen devices running WM Professional, yours is a Smartphone running WM Standard that is why it won't work for you. Try this version here and let me know if it works for you.

Re: !! (UPDATED) TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player + all codecs here !!
Hi Boz!
Your link took me to a different program, but I did locate TCPMP08 for Smartphones on that site and tried again. I unzipped the file and copied it onto my Q9c using Bluetooth. When I attempt to run Player.exe from inside of \MyDocuments \tcpmp81, I get the following error: Unexpected program failure. Please send crash.txt to the developers. Program will now exit. That is as far as I can get on any version of TCPMP that I can find. Am I doing something wrong? I had TCPMP on my Palm and loved it! I really wish I could get this to work. Thanks for your help!!

Re: !! (UPDATED) TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player + all codecs here !!
Hello ,
I came to this thread because I was searching for a good media player to play on my new HTC touch Pro ( WM 6.1 pro). unfortunatelly after installing v0.81 and reseting the device, the application crashes everytime when I try to run it from programs. (I suspect if it doesnt have something to do with touchFlo3D being on the device.. Any help greatly appreciated.
Regards

Re: !! (UPDATED) TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player + all codecs here !!
Hi, the wm6.1 version of tcpmp does work on wm6.1(samsung i900), but it does not support .mts (AVCHD h.264 format from sony DVR) file playback. I've copy avc.plg from tcpmp0.81 to the above folder, but it does not work. Pls recompile the program adding .mts file support to it. Thanks.
UPDATE FOR WM 6.1 PROBLEM DEVICES:-
If you are having problems running TCPMP v0.81 on your WM 6.1 device then please try this updated and recompiled version that is available HERE no gaurantees though!
All tried and tested[/quote]

Hi roy_wang and welcome
Did you soft reset after installing the correct drivers?
I am afraid time is so tight for me at the moment to even think about recompiling the application.
