Hi one 23 and welcome to 4WM
Sorry but it there are no rmvb and rm plugins out for TCPMP, I think you would have a problem playing these files on most players. The easiest option is to convert the files to avi or similar, there are plenty of free convertors that will do this.

Re: !! (UPDATED) Hermes TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player + all codecs here
Hi there,
I did everything like how you described on the first page and then I powered off my device. After turning on my device, i went to program files and clicked on Media Player.
Everything was fine till i opened a .wmv and everything started buzzing around. I mean i was unable to read anything on my screen cause it was just moving around. The whole screen including the top and bottom glossy bars. I then tried tapping on everywhere and i managed to press pause and play. So i'm wondering if anyone else having that same problem. Looks like i'm having a conflict in my video driver?
Any suggestions?
I installed Sleuth's AtiFix.cab and now it works fine. But why do i have to install it?

Was the player screen all GREEN and fuzy and a faint hint of the HTC logo in the swirl? I get that quite ofter, usualy after I have used some other apps and played with the device for awhile. I just SR and it's all good. Has not been enough of a bother to me to post for a solution. If there is I will GLADLY take it, or if you could give me the link link to the info on the cab you just used and the download, I will see for myself to !
Thanks

Re: !! (UPDATED) Hermes TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player + all codecs here
Since the Tytn was introduced there has always been a problem with TCPMP playing correctly due to the Imageon chip that is supposed to give better graphics. Sleuth managed to find a fix for it after a lot of trying and that is why the patch is used. Factory roms do not have this patch installed but most cooked roms do. So your rom you have obviously needed this patch to ensure that TCPMP runs correctly.

Since your the man in the know Boz, would the ocasional green fuzz that I get mean that I need the patch as well, or would fix it? It only happens once and awhile, and I can always close TCPMP, but once it happens I HAVE to SR before I can watch my favorite VID again .
Thanks

I would have thought you had the patch installed already to get it to run, it will not hurt to reinstall the patch though. Have you double checked your settings?

Re: !! (UPDATED) Hermes TCPMP v0.81 unofficial hybrid media player + all codecs here
Settings are good(sometimes hard to get to stick) SR a few or many times lol), and I have watched MANY hours of vids thanks to you . But I was never aware of a patch for this baby, I thought what I had is all you get, and it was good to go out of the box, so to speak.
Will the patch fix this glitch, and if so where is the patch, is it on the xda's site?
