This is the version I am using now.

I updated to this one.......and now I lost the backlight button.

I posted this also on XDA-Dev............and other people have the same problem as well.

I can't find that post there though, it's somewhere......heehee.

There is an earlier version than the ones I posted, try the one attached and let me know how you get on.

Will I still be able to use the Customizer as well? Or do I need to install that again too?

Good point! I would uninstall both to be safe, then reinstall the 6 button first.

Have a try of the other HTC 6 Button Home plugin available at the link below and see if that makes a difference, it is the original version, I will edit my first post to state this:-

I just realized I never did a soft reset after installing the newer 6 Button HTC Home plugin+customisation pack cab and I installed the picsel browser as well. Could either of those issues be why my phone got hung up and I had to hard reset?
