Hi, I have installed the HTC Home Plugin on my HTC Touch and everything works fine from the first moment. Thanks to the guys who made the installation process so easy, that even I could succeed. Only one thing: The brightness button in the launcher is not working at all. Ok, actually it doesn't matter as I do not change the brightness so often, but would be nice to have it running. One question: Is there any possibility to adjust the transparency of the clock, so that the background picture is more visible even in the clock area?

I've installed the Home plugin and everything seems to work fine - but: i cannot add contacts to the favorite tab. If i click on the (+), nothing happens. Same thing for the weather tab.

I have a HTC Artemis with t-mobile german rom.

Hi Ralf_1301 and welcome to 4WM

The brightness tab is an ongoing issue with some devices I am afraid, but the good news is that you can adjust the transparency, icons and clock colours if you have installed the customisation pack. You need to go to programs on your device and there will be an HHC icon, click on that and you can set the transparency level and also customise, download new icons and different clock types.

Hi Mike and welcome to you too

It might be an issue with the German rom you are running as this was really built for English versions, it may be worth uninstalling and reinstalling and see if that helps.

hey guys, i just joind in on this site and i have 1 ?. i downloaded the the 6 button cab but it downloads as a zip file and i dont know have to install it on my phone. its in my storage card but it only shows it under file explorer then i go to storage card. i have already installed the basis HTC home plug and that works great but like most of you here i want to further customize my device. thanks in advance. sorry, i forgot to mention that the device in question is an AT&T tilt (kaiser, tytnII)

1 more thing, boz, thank you for taking the time to make all this happen and taking the time to aswer everyones questions.

Once the zip file is downloaded to your desktop open the zip file and then drag and drop the cab file to your desktop, now transfer the cab file in the normal manner to your device.

Boz, please excuse my ignorance. this is my first time useing my computer for other than basic internet use. should i instal the zip file on the storage card or on my pc. i already have it on my storage card but i cant open the file from my device.

Hi lineman, welcome to 4WM. I'm not Boz, but I can help you out here.
No need to apolgise for being new at this.
You have the zip file. Open the zip file on your computer. Inside the zip file is a .cab file. Put the .cab file on to your storage card. Put the storage card back in your device. Open your file explorer program and navigate to the .cab file. Tap the .cab file, and the installation will start.

Since you say you are new, here are a couple of extra useful tips:
- get a card reader. Using the reader to transfer files is many, many times faster than using the connection between your device and the PC.
- get a third party file explorer program, as the built in one is poor. There's a free program called Total Commander (use the forum search and you will probably find a link to download it). Or a lot of people, me included, like a paid for program named Resco Explorer which does more (available from the Shop link, search for Resco).
Sorry I don't have time to put links in for those, but it's very early morning here and I have a train to catch.

Can 5ome1 get my Weather 2 Work for my City - because i've done the N2A thing and like 7-8 other different ways 2 get my Local City to work in the weather tab and nothing words Period...i wa5 wondering if anybody could get this 2 work For...

and like post the files needed with the directions 5o i can get this working b/k i have the 6-Tab home installed and working but still no local weather so any help would be greatly appreciated since i been at this for like 3-4 months now with Absolutely No luck at all...plz i don't need any more directions on how i can do it myself b/k i have tried and NOTHING I"VE TRIED HAS WORKDE yet...i juz want some1 else to attempt and give me the files already correct so i can put on my Sprint TOuch and install and hopefully have my Local Weather...Thanx.
