Hi, having a problem on my 02 orbit 2 using windows mobile 6.
Error message 'INSTALLATION UNSUCCESSFUL. THE PROGRAM OR SETTING CANNOT BE INSTALLED BECAUSE IT DOES NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT SYSTEM PERMISSIONS'

ANY IDEAS?

Yeah it should do, pretty much all QVGA devices with WM6 (even if it's updated to WM6, worked on my Trinity).

Does the Cube offer any real advantages over something like Spb Shell (other than it is free?). I tried a version of the Cube once and was not overly impressed. Perhaps I missed something. What can the Cube do that Spb Shell doesn't?

The best advice I can give is try the trial of SPB shell and see what you think, we have a review of it in the reviews section, and try the cube. It is all a matter of opinion, they both unistall easily enough.

SPB Shell has a lot more functionality. However, it's quite RAM hungry as opposed to the cube so it depends on what device you have. It also depends on what you're looking for. Do you want customisable tabs on your today screen, a full customisable, thumb-friendly menu as well as the "now screen", or do you want something simple, light on the RAM which is just a basic menu (that can be edited!).

Hi I want to replace my "sucky" Sprint Cube with yours.

However the install fails about 3/4 through with the error: "Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permission".

I tried to kill all kind of already running Sprint cube processes and mediahub. It would be awesome if you could help me to work around this issue.

Hi chbichsel an welcome to 4WM

The only other option you could try for installation is a soft reset first then install, if that fails to work install the attached SDK certs cab that may give required permissions to install.
