Re: Orange E650/ HTCs710 GPRS

Thanks for that, I was baffled!

As far as I can see, I've deleted all the Orange stuff. I was wondering if there is anything in there still preventing it? Is it possible to reboot and not load the Orange software?

Re: Orange E650/ HTCs710 GPRS

I've checked and my sim is enabled, so it isn't that. Dooes the PAP/CHAP authentication matter? Can I reboot and not load any Orange software, that may help?

Re: Orange E650/ HTCs710 GPRS

Eureka!!!!!!

I just changed the settings to mobileweb instead of wap.o2.uk & I'm connected. Only email to set up now and I'm laughing.

Many thanks to everyone for their help

Dave

What exactly will the cab file do? I've got everything working a treat now, including email, but I'm intrigued!

Re: Orange E650/ HTCs710 GPRS

All the cab file would do would be to set up your GPRS connection settings for you. If you've already got them working, don't install the .cab file!
