Re: How to add 'My Documents' to start menu

Start> Programs> File Explorer.
Navigate to your storage card
Tap & hold "My Documents"
Select Copy
Navigate to: My Device> Windows> Start Menu>
Tap & hold below the items (in white space)
Select Paste Shortcut

Hope that helps you

Added to programs folder but it opens with file explorer. Can I change it to open with GSFinder+? Also, how do you change the folder icons?

Re: How to add 'My Documents' to start menu

Explain this if you can ...

I first of all copied the My Documents shortcut across to the Start Menu using Resco File Explorer. Everything worked fine, but I didn't like the look of 'My Documents' files when opened in Resco.

So I removed My Documents from the Start Menu folder, then repeated the procedure, but this time pasted the 'My Documents' shortcut using Windows Explorer (instead of Resco). 'My Documents' appeared in the start menu, but when I clicked on it Internet Explorer would open, and when I clicked on Internet Explorer, My Camera would open.

So I cleaned everything up again and resorted to pasting the shortcut to My Documents using Resco File Explorer (which, again, works fine).

Anyone got any explanation as to what on earth has been happening... ?

Re: How to add 'My Documents' to start menu

Short answer: No.
Long answer: Still no, but File Explorer isn't good and Resco's always better. Or do you mean you really used Windows Explorer on the desktop while exploring the device the second time?

No - I was using File Explorer on the Orbit 2 (getting mixed up with terminologies...)

OK, that's your problem then, File Explorer is poor. There are several replacements available, some free, some paid for. Try using a different one. I use Resco.
