!!! 6 button HTC Home plugin + BRAND NEW version of customization pack 16/03/08 !!!

yeyeye!!! i guess i'm not that dumb after all! (just a lil bit! LOL) i got the HTC home screen going, the dialer, the dark blue, comm mgr, colored kb... except for the 6 button home plugin! it just won't work. i tried uninstalling soft reset reinstalling and no nothing. the only thing that happens is that everytime i reinstall the htc touch home plugin cab file then the home screen resets to original and not the colored one that i like. it's running 24 hours now that i've been tweaking my new phone (bought yesterday!!) but i guess i'm satisfied now without the 6 button plugin. i'm tired...

Untick the current Home plugin in start>settings>personal>today>items, now reinstall the new 6 button plugin again (over the top if it asks), soft reset and then tick the new version and it may work that way.

I have a Tytn II and want to add a city that isnt listed (East London, South Africa). i have edited the xml file but cannot write it back to the windows directory. do you perhaps know what i can do, or which registry setting i need to change, if any.

Hello, while connected via activesync/WMDC set the PC to show hidden files and folders open the windows folder on your device through your desktop and drag and drop the HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml folder to your desktop, open it up with notepad add you city with the correct string and save it. Now place the file onto your storage card, disconnect from activesync/WMDC use file explorer to find the file on your storage card and copy and paste the file replacing the original in the Windows folder. Soft reset and your added location should show up.
