I finally figured out how to install the files and am now starting to explore the plug ins !!! Quick question though, i am concious of the plug ins hogging space on my Orbit 2. Am i ok in putting the plug in's onto my storage card and running them from that?

Another question, my HTC customiser is thowing a tantrum. it says it cannot find the home plug in version and is deafaulting to v1.5 settings. so i press ok and then it says an unexpected error has occured in homecust.exe and goes on to advise me to quit and restart and says the system cannot find the specified file !!! WAAAAAAAH !!!!! What is going on???

H Wirral, it is best to run the 6 Button HTC Home plugin on your device because it is a today program and you will have problems which it seems that you have!, but you can run the Customiser from the storage card as this is the memory hog. Don't forget the Orbit 2 2 has plenty of memory to spare anyway. Just uninstall them and try again.

Well the Home plug in works fine but the customisation programme just does not want to play I've tried unloading it and reinstalling it but to no avail

Wirral, blondsta. Are you saying it hasn't installed as it should show up in programs after installation, it is a black icon with HHC on it. Try uninstalling soft resetting and then reinstalling.

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL.......I am new here and first off I'd like to say thank you for all that you guys do to help us noobs.

I just got an unlocked AT&T Tilt with HTC ROM (not sure what version of HTC Home plugin).

I have installed the HHC, it is located in my storage card. After installation I am able to make all the modification/customize the Today Screen from the HHC, BUT when I try to save the changes and accept the changes, once I go to the Home Screen..NOTHING CHANGES.....help.

Hi joyrdr and welcome to 4WM

Are you saving the changes in the application itself, if so go to start>settings>today>items and make sure the HTC 6 Button plugin is ticked not the standard version if installed.
