When you download it onto your PC, DO NOT UNZIP the files! They should be .CAB files, the file name should end with .cab at the end of it.

Copy the unziped file to your sd card and navigate to it on your phone and the file should now look like a CAB file that you just click to install

Ok, I got everything setup. Pretty amazing stuff! The only problem I am having is the audio manager. I have searched and haven't really found a good solution.

Originally with the first HTC home plugin I had, the audio manager would work from the programs menu and from the htc home but not from the cube. I had to uninstall that htc home plugin and install another one because it was only giving me 3 buttons not 6. Now I have everything right but now audio manager will only open from the programs menu. When I open from HTC home and the cube I get:

I did install the audio manager before the htc home and cube. I have seen others bring up this issue but have not seen any solutions that worked. I have the Tilt.

The Tilt has always had this problem, try installing Schap's configuration tool available from here. In the configuration tool settings make sure the audio manager is ticked as the default player, and then untick it and then tick it and save. Let us know how you get on.

Nope didn't fix it. But here is an idea. I put audio manager in the app launcher in HTC Home and it opens fine. So it has to be something in the way that HTC Home and cube open the file. It cannot be opening the same file.

I did notice that instead of being installed into /program files/audiomanager.exe it is installed into /program files/dutty.../audiomanager 1...../audiomanager.exe

Could it be the install directory that is causing the home and cube to glitch?

So: to test this theory I took the contents of the duttythroy folder and put into the program files folder.
Then I tried to open audio manager through the programs menu which always worked and got the error that I usually get with the home and cube. So I'm pretty sure it is a file path issue but who knows. Does any if this make sense?

After further digging into this. The file the cube is trying to open is windows/audiomanager.exe that file does not exist. The file is in program files. So I am now trying to find out how to get the audiomanager.exe to run from /windows or to change the file path on htc home. I can easily change the path on the cube with cubeconfig.

Just go to the file you want to place in the other folder, tap and hold on it, and make a copy to to make a shortcut in whatever folder you would like. Should then open from multiple places then.

Yeah I tried that and no luck. This is pretty confusing. The easy solution is put audio manager in the app launch tab, which I did for now. But I would love to get it working the right way.

The only other solutions I know of are to keep the audio manager running in the background, or use Schaps configuration tool to give the needed certification permissions.
