Hi, try installing the 6 button plugin as given in post 239 instead and see if that helps.

Hi Guys,

Have fallen in LOVE with the HTC 6 button plug in. But I just cannot get it right...

After DL it several times, I eventually managed to get it installed, but I only got the 5 button and not the six button, and the Today Tab is missing. I tried to edit the registry as Boz mentioned, and this is really where my stupidity shows...

I downloaded Resco explorer AND PHM regedit... Tried copying it to my phone and installing and it said that it was either not supported or had no association attached.

I tried installing it from my PC, which worked, but I have no idea where to find the frikking thing after it was installed

Tried looking on the phone and PC but cant find an icon anywhere...

PLEASE can someone save what little brain I have left and tell me how I can fix this !!!!!

I have the HTC Touch Dual.....

Never Mind guys, I managed to sort out my problem

I eventaully gave up and id a comlete hard reboot... and started from scratch (Now tho I cant get MMS setup, but thats another story)

I installed everything, but still only got 5 icons. Installed rEsco, and this time it showed up deleted the key and did a soft reset, and now everything is finally set up

Just one question tho.. Although I now have 6 icons on my home page, I do not get the tab under settings/today...

Anything I should be looking at doing?

I just want to say a great big thanks to all of the great info I got in just this thread alone. I have the Sprint mogul and I just upgraded to the WM 6.1 thinking I would get the great screen look I've seen for so long and was highly disappointed in the looks. The new speed was great but I still wanted the look and after a lot of reading I now have the look I always wanted. I tried the first download for home plugin and got the 3 tab one showing up and had problems other posters commented about the customization not working. Then tried the second and got the 6 tabs to show perfect and customization working perfect. Again I'm happy to see people out there that have the patience to help those of us new to doing modifications.

Yep, you are definatly at the RIGHT place for that! Welcome to the site, and I am SURE you will find many, many other things of interest that you never knew you couldn't live without!
