It seems as if you have made all the right moves on your partners Touch, have you tried all the plugins including the version I gave a few posts back? If you have I am afraid it looks as if it is not going to work, there are a few devices that have problems.

After struggling with the standard 6-tab version on my winmoble 6 tilt (at&t software disabled), I tried your "HTC.Home.v2.1.1005.722.Directory.And.Brightness.F ix.schen.cab"
Works great! Thanks!!
Two small problems, though: - The home plugin's launcher for the "adjust backlight" does not do anything.
- I'm now unable to toggle between various keyboard emulations (the carrot top no longer appears next to the keyboard icon at the botton of my screen).
All suggestions warmly welcomed! |

Glad you found it useful! If you search the thread there is a fix or two for the backlight and keyboard problem one of them should do the trick.

Apparently I'm missing something as windows on my Touch (Alltel) is telling my I'm a naughty kid because the CAB files lack sufficient permissions to be installed

Hi kbatman and welcome to 4WM
If your Touch already has the Home plugin on it, then untick it in settings >Today.items before trying to install this version. Failing that install the SDK certificate cab file which should then allow installation.
