!!! 6 button HTC Home plugin + BRAND NEW version of customization pack 16/03/08 !!!

The looks great and I love the customization but my Verizon Wireless XV6900 does not like it. It kept telling me that it was unable to copy the files. If you know why that would be great. Keep up the great work.

Hi,

I have installed the HTC Home plugin and the cusotmiser on my Orbit 2. The plugin appears to be working fine but the customiser is playing up. I have the customiser installed on my memory card and when I open it from start>programs>HHC it opens fine, I make my changes then press the save soft key, the windows timer appears but never applies the changes and I eventually need to kill the process. Can anybody advise how to get this working?

Hi, I am not that familiar with the XV6900, but if it is already running an HTC home plugin, untick all boxes in settings > Today items, soft reset, reinstall and try again it may then work, and take it from there.

Hi, I would uninstall the HHC customiser and download a fresh copy, install then soft reset before running it, see if that does the trick.

I used it on my Orbit 2 and it worked really well. The only other problem might be the memory card. Let us know how you get on or if you need any further help.

Hi Boz,

Thanks for the advice I tried a fresh download but it made no difference when installing to my memory card. I then tried installing to my device and this worked when customising the first time but then the same problem occurred again.

I have uninstalled the customisation app and I am happy to use the plugin as supplied for the time being.

Not sure, but possible as I am a bit of a download junky!

I’m going to update to the new rom at the weekend so I will try installing and running the HTC Home plugin first then add my other apps one at a time and check for a clash. Hopefully this will shed some light on the problem.

Finally got round to upgrading rom this weekend, added HTC Home plugin and cusomiser and all working fine.

Still none the wiser why it wasn't working before.
