2 questions (Cube and audio manger)

Hi I have two question, one regarding the HTC Cube as found on the forum and one regarding the AudioManager

I have a HTC P3300(artemis) with WM 6 (dutch). Currently I have installed the AudioManager, HTC Home plugin and the HTC Home customizer om my device.

1. When I've freshly rebooted my device and try to run the AudioManager via the HTC Home plugin it gives an errormessage. lt's in dutch but it roughly translates to: "The file 'AudioManager' cannot be opened. It is not authenticatedd or one of the components cannot be found. You might have to reinstall the program if this problem keeps occuring". However when I start the program via another way the plugin seems to work fine. Anyone know how to solve this one?

2. I've tried intsalling the cube on my device and after that i did a soft reset. The cube doesn't seem to work. When I go to the settings tab it shows the Touch Flo icon but it does't seem to work properly (It only shows half a screen). Do I have to set any additional things. maybe country/language related (this was the case for some of the other plugins, change the file names containing 009 to 0013) or maybe it's something else?

Thanks alot! (i know it's lot to read.) Would really appriciate it if you could help me solve these issues.

Regards,
Ruud

I've reinstalled the cube twice. Still doesn't work

As for the audiomanager I've tried 2 different versions and none of them work?

It does all point to a language problem I am afraid, I would try changing the file names and see how it goes. Not thought of using an English rom on your device?

Re: 2 questions (Cube and audio manger)

Ok i've booked a little progress on the cube.

I've installed the cube again and had a look at the files. They point to /Progam Files/ . As I have a dutch ROM my Program Files map is known as /Programma bestanden/ So I created a map called Program Files and copied the files there and all of a sudden the cube worked.

Ofcourse the contacts tab in HTC Home were gone and I was unhappy with the pressure so I adjusted them in the registry. To apply the changes I did a reset.
But after starting up again I got about the same errormessage as Ive gotten from the audiomanager: ""The file 'TuochFlo?'(not sure about the file name) cannot be opened. It is not authenticated or one of the components cannot be found. You might have to reinstall the program if this problem keeps occuring".

Can it be that there are some references either in the registry or somewhere else to directories or files (english vs dutch) that cause these errors to pop up? As I've edited the file names / directories form the original installation.

Or does anyone have an idea that may solve this

Re: 2 questions (Cube and audio manger)

I think you will be going round in circles with the language files because of the rom being Dutch. Once you have sorted one file then a shortcut is probably pointing to another. I would suggest installing a WWE rom if it doesn't cause you to much hardship as your English is excellent anyway.

Re: 2 questions (Cube and audio manger)

I had the same problem with HTC Audio Manager, the download from the main thread installs to %CE1%\duttythroy\HTC Audio Manager 1_2_816716 but the HTC cube and today plugin look for it in the windows directory. I managed to get it working by changing the install dir using WinCE CAB Manager. Could the cab in the main thread also be changed, thus stopping this from happening again?
