Re: Received a great text from Vodafone today!
That is exactly why I took out a contract with them, their coverage is top notch, and I think wavey did the same thing for the same reasons. I can sit indoors and get an 'H' all of the time with Vodafone, no such luck with my O2 contract sim though!

Re: Received a great text from Vodafone today!
My O2 coverage is OK, I was on TMob, but we had a new porch built and I lost the previous HSDPA TMob signal down to GPRS in my lounge. Weird. I still get HSPDA from Voda in there so......

Re: Received a great text from Vodafone today!
My Vodafone contract seems even more attractive now 200 minutes, 100 texts, 'unlimited data' and stop the clock for £25 month on a 12 month contract, very happy with that.

Re: Received a great text from Vodafone today!
Just spoken to a guy at vodafone about this and he says that all contracts that cost £25 or more include mobile internet. My contract is an old deal from 2006 so doesnt include mobile internet so im paying an extra £7.50 for it. Time to change tariff i think, same they dont seem to have updated the shop part of the vodafone site yet as its still listing mobile internet as an extra at £7.50. That sound just what i need Boz, when did you sign up for that?

Re: Received a great text from Vodafone today!
Stop the clock means that from 7pm to 8am the next day (and maybe all weekend but not sure) you only use a max of 3 minutes of your free call time for any call.

Re: Received a great text from Vodafone today!
Great that V are implementing this now!
We reported this in news a few weeks ago. Although data is now included in the tariff cost, all the applicable tariffs have increased by £5, so those on the original plans are only effectively paying £2.50 more.
I wish Orange would get cracking!

Re: Received a great text from Vodafone today!
The Mrs is on vodafone so i'll have to steal her phone and see if i get hsdpa in more places than i do with tmobile.
They have definitely raised their game.
Still am currently paying tmobile £22.50 per month for £56 of flext an web 'n' walk with decent hsdpa most of the places i go. Will have to see if the coverage increases when they merge with hutchinson (if merging is what they are doing)

I signed up on 10th October 2007 just as the v1615 (Kaiser) became available and got the data bundle thrown in, it was £7.50 at the time, I had to barter hard for it though because they weren't keen on giving out 12 month contracts.
This is the code for my tariff on my account if it helps:-
CTRA200+10%LR+STC+VP+12M
