They aren't merging the companies - just some of the network infrastructure as rolling this out is expensive so sharing removes duplication and cost!

I think the bennefits will be seen more by the Three users than us on T-Mobile to be honest though.

just rememered that OH's phone doesn't have a web plan on it. do you think they will add it for free.

You can only ask There is a lot of competion in the mobile space right now with all the providers fighting to gain new and for once retain customers so ask nice first and if that doesn't work get a little more pushy is my advice.

I have a 3 sim in a data card at present and whilst great in most cities I have tried it get slightly out of them in and around my home its pants even strugling with getting GPRS so I'm looking forward to seeing how this one plays out although since renewing my contract and uping to WnW Plus I do now tend to simply tether my Hermes via USB to the laptop and utilise Internet Sharing

From what the guy I spoke to yesterday said its the CTRA contracts that qualify if you pay more than 25 bucks a month.

just called them and after being on hold for less than a minute i was informed it would be added free of charge at midnight tonight.

total time i was on the phone for was only 2 mins. i'm suitably impressed.
