how do i enable the installed gps on xv 6800 to work with gps nav programs ? please help

You don't need to specifically enable it- it should just work as long as you set the program you are running to the correct GPS port (i'm not sure what that is for your model)

Hi sugarlessdaddy and welcome to 4WM

Try the following:-

Start>Settings>System>External GPS
In Programs Tab:- set GPS Program port to COM4.
In Hardware Tab:- GPS Hardware port set to (None), Baud Rate = 4800
In Access Tab:- Check the Manage GPS Automatically box.
Final Step (most important): perform a soft reset on the device.

Just remember it may take a while to get a signal lock which is best done outside with a clear view to the sky. Hope that helps.
