It can only be a bug, edit with notepad the file start.html inside the Windows>throttle folder the body should be:-

<body bgcolor="#000000" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">

Yes it does just work Joe and costs nothing unlike Animated Today!

It originally needed Animated Today to run which left the annoying on screen symbol that could not be removed.

It now uses Flash Player 7 combined with APBilbo's throttle application using C# and C++ coding, which was a joint venture with T Wolf, read more about Throttle launcher here.

I am guessing the basic idea may be of use to you and PS?

Thanks Boz, I think I'll give it a play!

I do have weather on my list as a possible addition to PS in the future, and do already have a digital clock (although not animated), so we'll have to see how that goes....

It might be worth having a word with Thor Wolf, he is an animation expert and very friendly and approachable.

I think I just may do that. Thanks Boz....

I will install tonight or tomorrow when I have a chance, and post back with my thoughts!

BTW: Any hits on memory usage with the animation that you can see?

Well, I did get a chance to install and play a bit, and I like the looks of it. Just some issues that I can't seem to fix....

1) Can't get the weather to update. Edited the config, and put it in the correct place, and 5-digit zip is also in there, but no-go!

2) The "seconds" on the clock "skip" ahead 1-sec for each 10-sec passed. Seems like the animation isn't fast enough to keep up with real time, so it catches-up each 10-sec. The time stays correct...

3) I also have the 1-2 pixel white border on the left and top of the plugin. I even tried changing:

to

<body bgcolor="#000000" leftmargin="-1" topmargin="-1" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">

But still no joy! This sure does have potential though....
