Try uninstalling PocketCM and see if that makes a difference.

pocket cm is a problem child?
ok will do.
will i be able to put pocket cm back on, also i noticed that active sync always wants to turn it self anyway i could shut that bugger down?

PocketCM can be reinstalled, activesync shouldn't be a problem.

yes i agree with active-sync but it seems to be moving the slowest when it is on and it seems to turn itself on?
DONT understand?

Nother quick question,
went to downloads and tried to download a ring or an alert and it would not show up as a playable file for me on my htc 6800. I downloaded it from this site, is it an incorrect formatt?

Ring tones are in mp3 format and need to be placed onto your device in "my documents>my ringtones" or directly onto your storage card. Alarm sounds are wav files and need to be placed in the Windows folder on your device.

BOZ many thanks ive done a total install of the touch3.01 found on xda-developers and its cleaned everything out, installation was easy even for a n00b like myself so thanks for all your help, look foward to using this site alot in the comming few months onwards....
now all i need is a version of tomtom navigator6 europe with instruction on installing... any ideas?
