Question PSP mp4 to DivX (TCPMP) conversion.

Hi there,

I'm looking for some pointers on software that will convert mp4 files which will play on my PSP to DivX files that TCPMP can cope with. I have tons of mp4 collected and stored on DVDs and Id like to be able to take them with me to watch on the fly. TCPMP cannot play them because the aac codec was not bundled due to contractual reasons.

I'm ideally looking for a free app, but all suggestions will be gratefully received.

Thanks.

I'd go with Dr.DivX, available here:- DrDivX's blog | DivX Labs

There are tons of other methods, but this one is quick, free and easy.

Re: PSP mp4 to DivX (TCPMP) conversion.

I tried this app and it works on DVDs. However, when I tried to convert a PSP formatted mp4, it only converted the video, but no audio. Any body any ideas whether this is due to the mp4 encoding or a mistake on my part?

Re: PSP mp4 to DivX (TCPMP) conversion.

The new TCPMP cab hosted on this site works perfectly and plays the PSP encoded movies. It has the required codec included. Thanks very much to whoever posted it.

Dillemma solved!
