ActiveSync on xp

Hey,

Had a look on the search and couldnt find an answer to this.

I currently use my pc with XP on it. I share it with my brothers and have installed activesync. When they are on thier profiles, it keeps popping up and annoying them. Is there any way that I can install it on my profile only and also have it so that it only runs when i open it and not all the time?

From memory, I think Activesync is kicked off at boot from the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run registry key. If you log on with your own account and remove the ActiveSync entry from here and recreate it in HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run instead it should only startup when you log on.
