SMS Delivery reports - how to shut them up?
Hi,
I've always used SMS delivery reports and want to keep doing so but WM is not great at handling them. I just receive a "system administrator" message which counts as an unread message. Is there a way of making it slightly less obtrusive?
On my old Nokia N73 delivery reports flashed up briefly then went into their own folder, not counting as a normal unread sms.
Something like that'd be great.
any solutions?
Cheers
NevyNev

Re: SMS Delivery reports - how to shut them up?
I'm not aware of anything. Although, I must admit, I haven't used delivery reports in years. Most people I know (myself included) refuse to allow the delivery report to trigger.

Re: SMS Delivery reports - how to shut them up?
I always use delivery reports as a lot of SMS I send, I need to know if they have been received
I don't think there is any way to change the default behaviour- maybe Nokia use some special code, because my 'normal' Samsung phone works the same as WinMo for reports.

Annoying, any other thoughts anyone?
I had a samsung bout 3 years back - never again! delivery reports were the same as WM but it could only store about 200 messages - ridiculous when it had about 60 mb of free space. Samsung are CR*P

Re: SMS Delivery reports - how to shut them up?
FlexMail has messaging filters. Presumably you could set up a filter along the lines of "Everything arriving in the SMS inbox with "Delivery report" in the message header should be moved to such-and-such a folder". There is a free trial available. If it does work and you decide to buy, you get about 40% off the purchase price is you are a 4WinMobile donor/subscriber.

Well, I've just found the solution to this.
Check out this app here. It looks like it does exactly what you wanted.
