XDA Exec charging time

Just swapped (dont laugh....too much) a Nokia 8800 for an XDA Exec and just getting to grips with it.

I have had an XDA II and a couple of SPV's so shouldnt be too long until I know my way around it but one thing I have noticed is that it seems to take an age to charge. Obviously been playing with it but it has been on charge for quite a few hours today (mains not usb) and it still isnt at full charge although it is climbing.

Is this normal?

Hi Cheapskate2003, welcome to 4WM.

From memory I think my Exec used to take about 2 1/2 hours to charge fully if left alone. I always noticed that if I was playing with it while it was charging though it barely seemed to charge at all.

Ahh right that could be it then, havent exactly left it alone a lot today!

Its definately a step on from the XDA II (original) but still pretty easy to figure out. Nice to see that O2's software isnt quite so invasive aswell.

I've got my Exec on charge now, and it's taken a couple of hours to get to full, I've made a couple of calls via the old BT headset in that time!

you swapped this for a nokia 8800, was he on drugs! do you think he'll swap a seimens a55 for a nokia n92?
