Resco releases Resco MobileForms Toolkit 2009 Volume 2

Resco, a supplier of advanced developer components and tools for mobile devices, releases MobileForms Toolkit 2009 Volume 2. The new Resco MobileForms Toolkit 2009 will be optimized for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 3.5. Resco decided to enrich Resco MobileForms Toolkit portfolio with three completely new components. The decision to add new components was driven by feedback from current customers of Resco.
“We’ve added 3 controls in order to cover the few last spots that did not enable finger touch input methods,” says Radomir Vozar, Resco's Enterprise Solutions division director. “I believe that Resco MobileForms Toolkit presents unprecedentedly the most complete and robust set of components for mobile solutions development in Microsoft Visual Studio.”
Resco AdvancedCombo for .NET CF

AdvancedCombo for .NET CF is a robust control for entry selection from a list. The basic purpose of this control is the same as of standard Combo Box; on the contrary, AdvancedCombo offers many improved functionalities. It fully supports Touch Scroll functionality. The design is customizable: templates support, support of pictures, links and buttons depiction. The templates can be saved/loaded to/from XML file. Moreover, DelayLoad functionality facilitates the work with huge amount of data. Finger touch control is extended by a new feature: the list can be displayed over the whole screen.

Resco NumericUpDown for .NET CF

Flexible control for numeric input — that is a brief description of this new control. The most important features are support of decimal numbers and support of hexadecimal numbers depiction. This control offers multiple number formatting options. Moreover, keeping visual attractiveness in mind, the control supports Visual Customization such as Vista Style and Gradient.

Resco TouchDateTimePicker for .NET CF

TouchDateTimePicker is visually attractive and easy to use time picker control. The most important features it comes with are Touch Scroll functionality, format customization: allows changing the rollers’ order and displayed format. There are many customizations possible in area of regional settings, 12/24 time format, and language support. Besides, the whole control abounds in very attractive graphics.
“Even though the data input in mobile environment is complex and tricky, it is part of every mobile application,” says Peter Sartoris, Resco's Head Developer. “We in Resco are very pleased that by three new components that are part of the Resco MobileForms Toolkit 2009 Volume 2 we make the mobile data input much easier.”
Utilization of these controls is extended by synergy effect: all three can be used along with the Resco DetailView for .NET CF. It is the control for creating mobile user input forms with immense versatility that is being even enlarged by new controls. AdvancedCombo, NumericUpDown, TouchDateTimePicker, and DetailView are creating one of the most robust control combinations that is very easy to use and brings perfect outcomes.
