Think I will go for the echo and as for PI I think that will be a no brainer purchase for me. Its the single most missed app since leaving WM. Hope we see it this year as planned.

PI is looking good - very early days at the moment but it will be truly awesome.

Well the "Cut your own" Echo protector arrived from the ever helpful Hannah at Proporta today. I'll try and find some time to ~~hack~~ fit it tonight......

i look forward to the results. wil be interesting to see how it is in direct sunlight (in the UK????? ha!) and whether you have to put screen brightness to maximum.

Seconded. Mind you it'll be interested to see the pictures, as cutting, placing whilst handling a camera will have been quite a challenge!

Well, it didn't happen last night. I'd forgotten a nephews birthday and the little one was grumpy still after her jabs. We're all clear for tonight though so far!

If using a Kraft knife then blood will be expected as usual

Tripod sounds good to me - a lot of us are intrigued to see how you get on with this one and if it works a fair few will follow suit I guess!
