Depends on what you want really, if you have all your tunes on the device, the CD changer may well become redundant!!

Yeah but when Peugeot charge an arm and a leg to swap the input from the CD changer to the AUX connection and taking into account I want to sell the car in two yeas time! It's just not worth the expense!

I can see your point, didn't realise it was a dealer job to replace the CD changer!!

Not to replace it but to switch the cabling over and to reprogram the console to use AUX instead of the changer. Be easier with a more functional head unit but as it also controls the trip computer system, bluetooth, etc it's not worth the hassle.
