It needs 1.5A as opposed to the 1A the HTC devices need.

Re: Toshiba Portégé G900 Review

I managed to persuade it to power on from USB and as I don't have a sim card in there I may even get away with putting a bit of charge in there.

The ROM seems later than the one you tested but I suspect that my thinking it was completely dead may have been the sleep of death problem due to the fact that no number of presses on the power button brought any reaction but it jumped back to life as soon as I plugged it into the USB (i.e. screen came on and was still in the OS).

CE OS 5.2.1239 (Build 17746.0.2.4)

Software Version: 03.07BAI
BSP Version: BSP_03.07_S0711081127(12.187)
RIL Version: 2.2
Radio Version: 03.04BAQ

Can't find the support pages on the Tosh UK site and it appears to have been discontinued in favour of the G910 (more in the Exec format). Off to Asia Pacific site then!

I'm pretty sure that's the latest ROM mate. It's the one we've been using.

Well it has actually charged quite well from USB without a SIM card in so I should be able to play with it later.
