Re: HTC Touch Diamond 2 - Living with!
...now for the BAD:
3DFlow looks gorgeous but makes LIVING with D2 a living hell (ok, maybe slight exageration there ;o) - try to add a program of your choice to that shortcut menu: there is no alternative to sliding the list of all programs up or down but with your finger and that's where it falls flat on it's face: 9 out of 10 you will select a program your finger lands on. 1 ot of 10 you will manage to shift the list somewhere and it's a pot luck if what you actually want is within selection window now...
Yes, control (or lack of there of) like this is BAD, not working, back to the drawing board situation.
There is no programmable buttons available either (ok there's one according to Win6.5 but your guess is a good as mine which one it actually is). A simple thing like flicking pages in MS Reader (tried uBook, couldn't use it, controls are too small/confusing) is a pain, 3D Flow thing is not working there...
I'm not at all sure one needs to access volume control constantly for it to be on the side of the phone - if only HTC would ditch it and converted those 2 buttons into something useful...
As it is - iPhone it certainly is not. It's a very good looking/feeling WM6.5 based phone with (for some truly unexplicable reason) castrated WM6.5 functionality.
