Only a long weekend unfortunately, but will do........ I'll be even happier if I can load Win 7 before we go!

Re: HTC Touch Diamond 2 - Living with!

Thanks for the feedback, your review is very helpful. Could you please give us your impressions/review of the D2 as a music player type device. How does it compare to a standalone player such as the apple itouch/iphone. I have a D1 but find the music player usability is very ordinary. Your feedback would be appreciated.

One question I have, does the D2 pop up the Activesync/Disk Drive/Internet Sharing selection screen when you connect it to the PC?

Yes, unless you tell it not to.

Yep I can verify that it does have that function. Back from Wales now So later on today once I've caught (and finished putting Win 7 and apps back on the PC), I'll hard reset the D2 an we can continue!

Why are you hard reseting the D2 so soon? anything wrong with the device so that you are hardreseting or is it something you do periodically?

Re: HTC Touch Diamond 2 - Living with!

The only reason is I tested a few 'alpha' test applications on it which have caused a few issues in screen redraws which are drivign me nuts, I'm removed the offending application(s) but the problem remains, so it's easier to hard reset and rebuild.

The rebuild is now due to take place on Thursday as I'm out with family tonight and away on business tomorrow Life is hectic at the moment!

Is there a T9 keyboard (like a normal phone keyboard) option for this phone. I'm currently using Cootek Touchpal and find it a very good keyboard.
