Regarding the TomTom gps lag. I've been using TTN since version 6 on the O2 orbit 1 & 2, O2 Ignito, Xperia X1 & now the TD2, all the time I've had to put up with the gps lag which is very annoying.

I've downloaded the Co Pilot trial using it for a couple of days & no lag whatsoever. Only problem is I prefer TomTom interface (maybe because I'm used to it) & also the Safety Cam database is much better.

Plus the routing in TT is much more accurate (at least round Wales) than CPL7.

just saw a post on xda developers and link on the diamond 2 forum that O2 Germany are selling it as xda diamond2.

Thanks Daron for your "living with" review, this has convinced me to order one...finally had enough of the iPhone and the problems with the echoes and crap call quality in my car...

Supposed to be today according to the email...they're leaving it a bit late at 6pm....can't wait since I'm using a c r a p Nokia 6300...I've had pda's since the original Psion Series 2...and to be without one is like having your right arm cut off....

I am out of contract come end of July and was planning on hitting 02 for an upgrade / contract renewal package (last time i commited to £25 per month for 18 months to get the Orbit 2 for "free" and got a couple of bolt-on included )

- is there anywhere other than 02 that is reputable where i could sign up for a £30 per month (ish) contract and get a D2 for free ?
